Doranne Phillips Flynn, Principal

Doranne has been creating beautiful kitchens and interiors for close to 20 years. She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design, New York City, 1989, with a degree in Interior Design, with high honors.

Since then, she has worked at Bilotta Homes in Westchester, and was in the top five out of twenty designers for design/sales in that company. Doranne has worked with various private clients, interior designers, architects and builders in Westchester, Connecticut, Manhattan and The Hamptons, designing and installing about 30 to 35 kitchens a year.

She has won national awards for her kitchens and cabinetry designs such as "Best Model Home of the Year", National Home Builders Association (NHBA), and was 1st Place national winner for kitchen design with Velux Skylights.

Karen P. Rattin, Designer

Karen has a Masters in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University in Brunswick, Maine. She has worked in the customer service field with such companies as L.L. Bean and UPromise Investments.

Karen has worked closely throughout the years with Contractors designing and building four homes for her family across the East Coast. She is excited to be working with Harbourside Kitchens combining her customer service skills with her creativity to inspire great living spaces.

Erin Walker, Designer

Erin recently graduated from Michigan State University with a Degree in Interior Design, with high honors. She was a student representative for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and was also a student member of the International Interior Design Association.

Erin has interned with Henredon in Troy, Michigan, as well as testified in front of government bodies for the Coalition for Interior Design Registration (CIDR). She is looking forward to beginning her career in interior design with Harbourside Kitchens.

Karen French Bushnell, Designer

Karen is an honors graduate of the interior design program at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been working as a kitchen and bath designer in Wilmington for over six years

Presently, Karen is a board member for the Eastern Carolinas Chapter of the NKBA, as well as an Allied Member of the ASID. She recently received her certification as an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD).

Her enthusiasm and reputation for providing clients with personalized service and innovative design solutions will guide you at every stage of your project.

Cindy Blunt, Designer

Cindy has just joined Harbourside Kitchens having been in the interior design field in the Wilmington area over the last few years. She is a graduate of East Carolina University with an Interior Design degree with honors.

Previously, her work in the field has included developers, builders, architects and designers. Cindy is well-versed in design work from space planning to colors and materials.
