How to Measure Your Existing Kitchen

Step 1: Draw a rough sketch of your kitchen. We have provided a sample for you below.

Step 2: Measure the entire kitchen starting at one corner and working your way around the room. Write down your measurements in inches.

Step 3: When measuring doors and windows, measure the distance from the corner to the door or window. In addition, measure the size of the door or window including any molding.

Step 4: Indicate any obstacles or obstructions that may affect the design of your new kitchen.

Step 5: Measure and indicate the center line of sink drains, water pipes, etc.

Step 6: Measure overall ceiling heights.

Step 7: If you are keeping any existing appliances — measure the width, height and depth and bring the dimensions along with you. If you are buying new appliances, give us a rough idea of the sizes you will be purchasing.

 Notes :

Make a list of your appliances or the appliances that you want to purchase for your dream kitchen in order to help us design the perfect room for you.  The manufacturer and model line are what is needed.

Make a list of all the rooms you will be needing cabinets for -Kitchen, Laundry, Wet Bar, Sun Room, Bath, Master Bath, etc.

Come by our showroom and choose the wood species and finishes that you prefer for your cabinets.
